The Office in Malta
European Parliament Office in Malta
The European Parliament has set up a network of offices in the capitals of the Member States. The office in Malta, which opened in July 2003, answers your questions about the role and the work of the European Parliament and provides general information on the EU. The office can also inform you about your rights in the EU. Questions can be put either by e-mail (epvalletta@europarl.europa.eu) or by phone (+356 2123 5075). Of course, it is also possible to visit the office during working hours.
Furthermore, the office assists media that are interested in the European Parliament. The office issues press releases and organises press conferences/seminars as appropriate. On a regular basis, journalists are invited to report about plenary session "on the spot", either in Strasbourg, where the monthly plenary sessions of Parliament take place or in Brussels.
The Briefings give an advance overview of the agenda for each months plenary session and are available to the media and other interested organisations.
