Each parliamentary committee has a spokesperson that can be contacted about the work of the parliamentary 20 Committees.
Invitations
The Information Office in Valletta regularly invites journalists to Brussels and Strasbourg to introduce them to the European Parliament. These visits aim at informing journalists about the work of the Members and Observers in the European Parliament.

The accreditation permits access to the premises of Parliament and the pressroom with all available facilities.
It is also possible to obtain an accreditation for a specific meeting or event that journalists would like to attend.

Preceding Plenary sessions of Parliament the press directorate of Parliament organises or facilitates the organisation of press conferences a press briefing that takes place :
In Strasbourg, in Room LOW N-1/201.
In Brussels, in Room PHS 0A50.
Before Plenary sessions the following press briefings take place:
- A pre-session press conference at 11:00 on the Fridays preceding the session weeks.
- A "last minute" press conference, 30 minutes before the beginning of the plenary session in Strasbourg and Brussels.

On the central website of the European Parliament you can find a special "Press Corner", specially set up for journalists but also of interest to others. Parliaments press service prepares a number of publications, including briefings on upcoming plenary session, summaries of the highlights after plenary session have ended, briefings on committee work and on the result of the committee meetings.
Accreditation
Parliament offers a common accreditation to all EU institutions for all permanently based journalists in Brussels. This accreditation is valid in all working places of Parliament (Brussels, Luxembourg and Strasbourg).
